Xiaomi just introduced the Redmi Note 15 5G in the Indian market with a new 108MP MasterPixel camera and a sleek new design. But this device wasn’t alone during the announcement, as the brand also unveiled the Redmi Pad 2 Pro alongside the new Note series phone. This tablet brings a high resolution display and some powerful specs and features, so here are all the details.
Redmi Pad 2 Pro Specifications
The Chinese tech giant’s latest tablet was first introduced back in September 2025, but is only now making its way to India. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G sports a tall 12.1-inch LCD panel with a 2.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, up to 600 nits of peak brightness, Dolby Vision, DC dimming, and anti-glare matte glass.

Under the hood, the tablet is equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, which his coupled with 88GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. A massive 12,000mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 33W wired fast charging. For optics, the rear and front have an 8MP camera that offers 1080p@30fps video recording.
Other notable features include Android 15 OS based HyperOS 2 custom skin out of the box, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, up to 2TB of storage expansion via a microSD card slot, Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 6, eSIM support (optional), and a slim 7.5 gram body.

Xiaomi has released the Redmi Pad 2 Pro in a WiFi only and 5G variants in India. So here are the pricing details:

The Redmi Pad 2 Pro will go on sale in India on 12th January 2026 via Amazon India, Flipkart, the brand’s official store, and offline retail stores. Xiaomi is also selling this device with three new accessories, including the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Keyboard Case (Rs 3,999), Redmi Smart Pen (Rs 3,999), and Redmi Pad 2 Pro Cover (Rs 1,499).
