After weeks of leaks, Motorola has finally unveiled its premium flagship phone dubbed the Motorola Signature, which was earlier expected to carry the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra branding based on early rumours. The Signature comes with some exciting specs, such as a 165Hz display, the latest Snapdragon 8-series chip, and an ultra-thin profile. Here’s a look at what’s packed inside the Signature.
Motorola Signature specifications and features

Starting from the front, the Motorola Signature has a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with support for a 165Hz refresh rate, a 1.5K resolution, and up to 6,200 nits of peak brightness. The phone runs on Android 16 with a layer of Hello UX on top.
Under the hood, the device packs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The device houses a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery packed inside a 6.99mm-thin body. The device weighs 186 grams. It offers 90W wired charging and 50W TurboPower wireless charging.
Moving to the cameras, the Motorola Signature features a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-500 sensor on the front for selfies and video calls. On the back, it has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 main camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens with macro support, and a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom.


The Motorola Signature is the company’s first phone to promise a long software support cycle of up to 7 years of OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates. The device runs on Android 16 customised with Hello UX. When it comes to durability, the Motorola Signature comes with an aluminium frame, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection for the display, IP68/IP69-rated dust and water resistance, and MIL-STD-810H certification.
Motorola Signature price and availability
The Motorola Signature is heading to Europe with a price tag of 999 euros. It will also be released in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific regions in the coming months. It will be available in Pantone shades like Carbon and Martini Olive.
