Xiaomi has officially confirmed the Redmi Turbo 5 Max with flagship level performance. For the first time ever, the Redmi Turbo series is getting MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 series chipset, with a fresh teaser also showcasing its high end performance with an impressive AnTuTu score. So let’s check it out.
Redmi Turbo 5 Max teased with Dimensity 9500s

The Chinese tech giant’s latest teaser poster confirms that the Redmi Turbo 5 Max is equipped with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. Thanks to this chipset, the upcoming smartphone managed to achieve a flagship level score of 3.61 million on the popular AnTuTu benchmark. To recall, this is slightly faster than even the Dimensity 9500, which powers premium smartphone models like the Oppo Find X9 Pro (Review) and Vivo X300 Pro.
Dimensity 9500s pairs the advanced CPU configuration with a 12-core Immortalis-G925 GPU. This chip also has a 1 x Cortex-X925 clocked at 3.73GHz, 3 x Cortex-X4 clocked at 3.30GHz, and 4 x Cortex-A720 with a 2.40GHz clock speed. This teaser arrives shortly after the brand teased the pricing details. Xiaomi’s Redmi Turbo 5 Max will be priced around 2,500 Yuan, which is roughly around 360 US Dollars.

At this price point, it is classified as a budget flagship model. Based on what we know so far, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max will sport a 1.5K flat display, up to 16GB of RAM, and a massive 9,000mAh battery pack. Earlier this week, the smartphone also surfaced on the GeekBench database, which also showcased powerful performance. MediaTek has just debuted the Dimensity 9500s, so Redmi’s new smartphone should likely launch soon after.
