Oppo has launched the A6 5G in India, bringing a massive battery pack, a Dimensit chipset, and a 120Hz display to the budget segment. Being priced under $200, buyers get 5G connectivity, high end IP rating for protection against the elements, and a 50MP rear camera. So here are all the details.
Oppo A6 5G Specifications
The Chinese tech giant’s new affordable smartphone was announced with a tall 6.75-inch LCD panel with an HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 900 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the Oppo A6 5G is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 SoC, which is coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Out of the box, this device runs on the Android 15 OS based ColorOS 15 custom skin.
This model is powered by a massive 7,000mAh battery pack, which promises more than a day of use on a single full charge. You also get support for 45W wired fast charging. For optics, the rear has a 50MP + 2MP dual camera setup, while the front houses an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calls. Other notable features include a side mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, a large VC cooling system, and an IP66 + IP68 + IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.
The brand unveiled the Oppo A6 5G in the Indian market in three color options, namely Sapphire Blue, Ice White, and Sakura Pink. It has a starting price tag of Rs 17,999 for the 4GB + 128GB model, while the 6GB + 128GB variant and 6GB + 256GB versions cost Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999, respectively.
