Honor recently wrapped up the launch of the Honor Magic 8 RSR and Magic 8 Air in China. The next flagship phone from the brand will be the Honor Magic V6 foldable, which will go up against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Oppo Find N6.

According to a new report, the Magic V6 is already ready for launch. Tipster Digital Chat Station claims the device is internally codenamed Phenom and is tentatively scheduled to debut around March. It’s said to arrive in several color options, including Snow White, Velvet Black, Sunrise Gold, and Red Rabbit.
Honor Magic V6 Specifications
On the hardware side, Honor has reportedly managed to fit a 7,000mAh battery into the Magic V6’s ultra-thin fiberglass body. This has also been confirmed via a recent 3C certification in China.
Powering the foldable will be the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Not surprisingly, Honor’s foldables typically use the latest Qualcomm silicon. As for the cameras, the device is tipped to feature a 200MP rear camera setup paired with a periscope telephoto lens.

Other flagship features reportedly include wireless charging, full-level water resistance, and BeiDou satellite communication.
Honor launched the Magic V5 in July last year with a starting price of 8,999 yuan. That device features a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a slim 8.8mm body, a weight of 219 grams, and a 6,100mAh Qinghai Lake blade battery.
It also supports 50W wireless charging, a periscope telephoto camera, and BeiDou satellite communication across all variants.
If Honor decides to launch Magic V6 in March, we can expect the official teasers to go live by mid to late February. We will keep you posted on any new updates.
