iQOO is gearing up to launch a powerful new budget flagship soon. But ahead of its Indian release, its Amazon microsite has confirmed some performance details of the iQOO 15R, with a high end chipset that manages to get an impressive score on AnTuTu as well. So let’s check it out.
iQOO 15R Specifications
At the heart of the iQOO 15R is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, a flagship-level processor built on an advanced 3nm process. Snapdragon’s latest silicon also powers some of the most powerful Android phones this year, and other similar value flagships like the Motorola Signature. One of the biggest highlights from the teaser is the 3.5 million+ score on AnTuTu, showcasing the flagship level power under the hood.

To put that in context, the teaser also compares it to other Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered phones, which score around 3.3 million on AnTuTu, while devices with chips like the Dimensity 9400+ hover nearer to 2.9 million. This performance jump suggests a notable boost, especially in raw throughput and responsiveness. iQOO also claims that this chip offers a 36 percent upgrade in CPU performance and a 46 percent improvement in NPU performance.
Furthermore, the teaser from the Chinese brands hints at its price range as well. The iQOO 15R could be priced under Rs 55,000. So it could shake up the performance segment. Competing models with flagship silicon, high-refresh displays, and robust cooling often cost well above this tier, meaning the 15R could offer rare value for power users and gamers alike. But there are some new rivals in this range, namely the Motorola Signature and Vivo X200T.
