Samsung has launched the Galaxy A07 5G in the Philippines after its initial release in Thailand. The phone is now available on Samsung Philippines’ official website and targets budget buyers who want long software support and a big battery.

The device comes in Light Violet and Black colors. Two storage options are available: the 64GB model costs Php 8,290, while the 128GB version is priced at Php 9,990. Both can be purchased through Samsung’s online store.
The Galaxy A07 5G has a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches 800 nits of brightness in high brightness mode, which helps with outdoor visibility. The phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and comes with One UI 8.0 installed.

Software support is a major selling point. Samsung will provide six generations of Android OS updates and six years of security patches. This level of support is unusual for budget phones and makes the device viable for long-term use.
The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery for extended usage. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor on the back. An 8MP camera handles selfies and video calls on the front.
Other features include IP54 dust and water resistance, Samsung Knox Vault for security, Google Gemini integration, Circle to Search, and Gemini Live with natural speech. The body uses glass fibre reinforced polymer and measures 8.2mm thick. The phone weighs 199 grams.
The Galaxy A07 5G addresses a common problem in budget smartphones where software support ends quickly. The six-year update commitment means the phone will remain secure and functional much longer than typical budget devices.
