OnePlus has begun distributing OxygenOS 16.0.3.501 to OnePlus 15R users in India through a staged rollout. The incremental update, carrying build number CPH2767_16.0.3.501(EX01), requires users to be on a recent OxygenOS version before installation.

The update introduces organizational improvements to the app drawer by adding Office and Finance categories, automatically sorting productivity and financial applications without manual intervention.
The update also improves overall system stability and performance. While OnePlus has not shared specific technical details, this typically includes background optimizations and fixes for known issues to ensure smoother daily use.
On the security side, OxygenOS 16.0.3.501 integrates the January 2026 Android security patch. This patch addresses known system vulnerabilities and improves device protection at the Android platform level. Private Safe receives multiple functional upgrades. Users can now browse files in Private Safe by sliding the side slider. The update also allows users to search for files within folders inside Private Safe. In addition, files stored in Private Safe can now be shared directly, making the feature more practical without reducing security.
There is also a new call management feature that allows users to disable the SMS reply option on incoming call screens. The toggle is located in Contacts > three-dot menu > Settings > Answer or End calls > Reply with SMS.
Currently available to limited users, the update will expand to broader user groups in the coming days. OnePlus confirms update contents may differ by region and recommends users review their specific build’s changelog.
