boAt has added a new budget projector to its lineup with the launch of the CineHead E1, introduced alongside the higher-end CineHead M1. This one is clearly positioned as a more accessible option for basic home viewing.

The CineHead E1 comes with a native 720p resolution and supports 1080p playback. It delivers 150 ANSI lumens of brightness, which means it works best in dim or indoor settings. The visuals are handled by a standard lens setup that focuses on clarity and decent contrast rather than high-end output.
One of the key highlights is the projection size. The device can go up to 150 inches, which is enough for turning a wall into a large viewing screen. It is suited for casual use like watching movies, streaming shows, or even running presentations at home.
The projector runs on an Android 13-based interface. It comes with support for popular streaming apps such as Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, JioHotstar, SonyLIV, and Zee5. There is also an app store for downloading more apps if needed. Wireless screen mirroring is supported, so users can cast content directly from their phones, tablets, or laptops.

For adjustments, the CineHead E1 uses electronic focus instead of manual dials, making it quicker to get a sharp image. It also includes vertical keystone correction to fix image distortion when the projector is placed off-center.
On the audio side, there is a built-in 3W speaker. It also supports Bluetooth 5.0, so external speakers or headphones can be connected. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, HDMI, USB, and AUX ports.
The design is simple and functional. It has a rotatable build with an adjustable stand, and it is light enough to carry around. boAt is pitching it as something you can move between rooms or even take outdoors.
The CineHead E1 is priced at Rs 7,499. It is available to buy through Amazon India.
