The Supersonic Travel Hair Dryer is 32% smaller and 25% lighter than Dyson’s standard Supersonic model. It weighs just 0.7 pounds, making it easy to pack in a suitcase or handbag. Despite its smaller size, Dyson claims the travel version delivers the same performance as its full-sized counterpart.

Dyson included its signature Air Multiplier technology in the new model, along with a 110,000 RPM digital motor. This setup creates a strong yet controlled airflow, which allows fast and effective hair drying. According to Dyson, 94% of users believe it is more powerful than hotel hair dryers.

The travel hair dryer features intelligent heat control, which monitors the air temperature over 100 times per second. This prevents extreme heat damage and protects hair, keeping it healthier and shinier. Dyson says this feature results in hair that is 138% shinier compared to when conventional dryers are used. The dryer offers three heat settings and two speed options, catering to different styling needs.

Dyson designed the travel model to work anywhere in the world. With a universal voltage of 100-240V, it adapts to different power systems without compromising performance. It also offers to attach accessories from their existing Dyson Supersonic model.

The device measures 8.7 inches in length and 2.6 inches in height, ensuring it fits within luggage restrictions. Dyson equipped the dryer with a 6.5-foot cable for flexibility during use, whether at home or on the go.

In related news, Dyson has recently introduced its first handheld bladeless fan, priced at $99.
