After teasing the arrival in the past week, Lenovo has officially introduced the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 in India. The new tablet is aimed at users looking for a larger-screen device that can handle productivity, entertainment, and creative tasks without moving to a full-sized laptop. The latest model also brings AI-backed features designed to simplify note-taking, content creation, and multitasking.

The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 features a 13-inch 3.5K PureSight Pro display with a 3540 x 2190 pixels resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel supports 99 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut and reaches up to 800 nits brightness in high brightness mode. Lenovo is also offering a matte edition with an anti-glare finish for users who prefer a paper-like viewing experience.
Powering the tablet is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It runs Android 16 and is expected to receive updates up to Android 18. The tablet packs a 10,200mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
Lenovo has equipped the device with quad JBL speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos support. For photography and video calls, it gets a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.
Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 price in India, availability
The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 has been priced at Rs 39,999 (~$420) in India. It will go on sale starting May 1 through Lenovo’s official website, e-commerce platforms, and retail stores across the country. Buyers can also get an instant bank discount of Rs 3,000 for a limited period.
