Xiaomi has introduced a new Light Sand color for its Mijia Smart Massage Eye Mask, which is now available for pre-order. The eye mask originally came out last year in a standard black finish. The new lighter color variant has an introductory price of 199.75 yuan ($29), though its standard suggested retail price will be 249 yuan ($36).

Mijia Smart Massage Eye Mask Specifications
The device is essentially a reusable heated eye mask with built-in massage functions, aimed at reducing eye strain from looking at screens or working long hours. Physically, it has a curved design meant to fit around the bridge of the nose to help block out ambient light. The inside of the mask is recessed, which keeps the fabric and internal components from pressing directly against your eyelids while you wear it.
For the massage features, the mask uses four small, independently controlled vibration motors. They are programmed to mimic the rhythm of a finger-pressure massage around the eye area.
The massage heads are hidden under the padding, so they don’t leave noticeable pressure marks on your skin after a session. Alongside the vibration, it offers heated compression with two adjustable temperature levels, regulated by an NTC temperature controller to keep the heat consistent.

You can control the mask manually, but it also connects to the Mijia app via your smartphone. The app lets you set a specific timer for your session, ranging anywhere from 2 to 30 minutes.
It also includes six preset routines, such as Heat Compress, Nap, Vitality, and Refresh, as well as an option to create a custom routine based on your own preferences.
Xiaomi placed the main control module in the center of the mask’s forehead area. This layout is meant to make it easier to lie on your side without a hard plastic component pressing into your temples.
The vibration motors operate at a relatively low volume, rated at 40dB(A) or lower, so they don’t disrupt your rest. Additionally, the breathable fabric cover is removable and washable, which makes it easier to keep the device clean over time.
In related news, Xiaomi has recently introduced the Mijia Wireless Vacuum Cleaner 4 with blue-light dust detection, alongside a new 1.7-liter titanium steel electric kettle.
