Red Magic just held a hardware event in China, and while the new 11S Pro series smartphones took center stage, the company also introduced a surprisingly feature-dense accessory: the Dao Energy Card Pro magnetic power bank.

Red Magic Dao Energy Card Pro Specifications
Aesthetically, the Pro model keeps the gamer-adjacent hexagonal texture and aviation-grade metallic chassis of the standard version, but it adds a large rectangular color display to the bottom half.
Instead of just relying on a few LED dots to guess how much juice you have left, the screen provides a detailed readout. It displays real-time charging and discharging voltage, current, live temperature readings, overall battery health, and cycle count. It’s a practical addition for people who like to know exactly what their hardware is doing.
On the performance side, the power bank supports 45W wired fast charging and 25W wireless charging, which Red Magic notes is designed to run at lower temperatures with the help of AI-powered monitoring.

But the most interesting hardware quirk is a dedicated “flight key.” Pressing this button physically disconnects the battery cells from the circuit. It acts as a hard kill switch to prevent short circuits, a specific design choice made to comply with China’s newly implemented GB 47372-2026 safety standards for portable batteries.
Red Magic hasn’t announced pricing or international availability for the Dao Energy Card Pro just yet. But if you’re the kind of person who likes to monitor your battery’s cycle count and voltage on the go, it’s an accessory worth keeping an eye out for.
In related news, RedMagic is also launching the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro in June with a transparent design, flagship touch chip, and upgraded cooling system.
