Vivo is sticking with a familiar chipset for its upcoming Vivo S60 smartphone. A new Geekbench listing for the device, carrying the model number V2571A, shows that the phone will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, the same chip that powered last year’s Vivo S50.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 features one prime core clocked at 3.01GHz, four performance cores running at 2.80GHz, and three efficiency cores at 2.02GHz. The chip is paired with the Adreno 735 GPU. The listing also confirms Android 16 and up to 16GB of RAM for the device.

In Geekbench CPU tests, the Vivo S60 scores 1,960 points in single-core and 5,194 points in multi-core.

What can you expect?

The new benchmark details arrive shortly before Vivo’s scheduled launch event on May 29 in China. The company is expected to unveil both the Vivo S60 and the Vivo S60 Vitality Edition during the event.

Both phones will share a similar design and will be available in Starry Sea, Early Summer Green, and Midsummer Night color options. The standard S60 is expected to offer configurations up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, while the Vitality Edition may start with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, making it the more affordable model.

Moreover, leaks suggest the Vivo S60 could feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Other rumored specifications include a 7,200mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 50-megapixel triple-camera setup with a Sony IMX-series periscope telephoto sensor.

Additional expected features include stereo speakers, an X-axis linear motor, an IR blaster, and IP68/IP69-rated dust and water resistance. Vivo has yet to officially confirm the full specifications, but with the launch date approaching, more details are likely to surface soon.
