After a series of production delays, Trump Mobile announced this week that its T1 smartphone is finally shipping to customers who preordered it. The device, which reports indicate is a modified T-Mobile REVVL 7 Pro 5G, was originally slated for an August 2025 release before facing testing and quality assurance hurdles. Now, the custom device maker Caviar is offering an alternative for those looking for similar branding but with high-end hardware.
Caviar has introduced the T-Great, a customized version of Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Max. While the official T1 is a mid-range Android phone, Caviar’s model uses Apple’s current flagship as its base, specifically locking the device to the highest 1TB storage configuration.
The company, known for its expensive smartphone modifications, has replaced the standard glass and titanium exterior of the iPhone 17 Pro Max with a jewelry alloy body. The back of the device features double 24-karat gold plating and is centered around a raised, dimensional letter “T.”
Below the letter is a US flag, which Caviar says is crafted using a traditional cloisonne enamel technique, complete with colored enamel and gold dividers representing the 50 stars and 13 stripes.
The packaging follows a similar design language. The phone ships in an interactive premium case that includes a 24-karat gold-coated key required to open the box.
Of course, this level of customization comes with a massive premium. The phone is priced at $10,500. Caviar is also offering a service where customers can send in their existing iPhone 17 Pro Max to be customized, though the company hasn’t publicly listed the price for the modification-only route.
