A few days ago, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ microsite quietly appeared on Flipkart, teasing some of its headline features without confirming the official launch date. Ahead of its March 4 launch date in India, the device has been listed on Motorola India’s official website, revealing its complete specifications, design details, and colour options.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ full specifications revealed

The listing shows that the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ will feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 2772×1272 resolution, up to 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a peak brightness of 5200 nits. The panel also supports Pantone Validated colours, Water Touch technology, and SGS certifications for reduced blue light and motion blur.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs Android 16 and is promised to receive up to three years of OS upgrades alongside five years of security updates.
The camera setup includes three 50-megapixel rear sensors. The primary camera uses Sony’s LYTIA 710 sensor with OIS support, while the second sensor handles ultra-wide and macro photography. The third camera is a periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and up to 50x Super Zoom support. On the front, the phone has a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus. Video recording goes up to 4K HDR10+ at 60fps, while slow-motion recording supports up to 4K at 120fps.
The Edge 70 Pro+ also packs a 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 90W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, 10W wireless reverse charging, and 5W wired reverse charging. On the connectivity front, it offers Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB-C. Motorola has also included ThinkShield security, an in-display fingerprint scanner, face unlock, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, IP68/IP69 water resistance ratings, and MIL-STD-810H certification for shock resistance.
Motorola is using Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front, while the rear panel comes in wood-inspired, silk-inspired, and twill-inspired finishes. It will arrive in Pantone shades, such as Stormy Sea (Green), Zinfandel (Red), and Chicory Coffee (Wood). Despite the large battery, the phone measures just 7.19mm to 7.34mm in thickness and weighs 190 grams.
Expected pricing in India
Motorola launched the standard Edge 70 Pro starting at Rs 38,999 (~$410) in India, so the Edge 70 Pro+ is expected to sit higher in the lineup. With additions such as a periscope telephoto camera, wireless charging support, upgraded display features, and new premium finishes, the upcoming model could be priced under Rs 50,000 (~$520). If that happens, it may become the most expensive smartphone in the Edge 70 series so far.
