Vivo has unveiled a new budget-focused smartphone called the Vivo T5 in Mexico. The smartphone arrives with a large battery, high refresh rate display, and durable design features usually seen on more expensive devices. Here’s a look at the specifications, features, and price of the device.

The Vivo T5 (4G) features a 6.75-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1570×720 pixels and support for up to 120Hz refresh rate. The panel also reaches up to 1250 nits HBM brightness. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 4G chipset paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The phone also supports up to 8GB extended RAM.
One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo T5 is its 7200mAh battery. Vivo has paired the large battery with 44W fast charging support. The company claims the phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, which is uncommon in this price segment. The device runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box and includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

For photography, the Vivo T5 comes with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera alongside a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, the phone gets a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone supports dual SIM 4G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, and an infrared blaster. The device measures 166.64 x 78.43 x 8.39mm for the black variant and 8.49mm for the gold variant, while the weight stands at 219 grams.

The Vivo T5 (4G) has launched in Mexico in Gold and Black color options. The smartphone is priced at MXN 5,799 (~$335) for the single 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
