Xiaomi is set to launch the Xiaomi 17T in India on June 4. Ahead of the launch, a new leak from tipster Abhishek Yadav has revealed the smartphone’s expected price in the country.
According to the leak, the Xiaomi 17T will launch in India in 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB storage variants. The base model is expected to retail for Rs 65,999. This will be Xiaomi’s first T-series smartphone in India since the Xiaomi 11T Pro, which launched in 2022. As a result, there is no direct predecessor available for a price comparison.
Xiaomi 17T specifications
For the price, the Xiaomi 17T is expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K LTPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display reportedly supports up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness and 2,000 nits of HBM brightness. It will also offer Dolby Vision support, dual stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos for an enhanced multimedia experience.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. The device may also come with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
On the camera front, Xiaomi is expected to offer a 50MP Leica Light Fusion 800 primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and up to 120x AI zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view. For selfies and video calls, the phone is said to feature a 32MP front-facing camera.
The rear camera supports 4K video recording at 60fps, while the front camera supports 4K recording at 30fps.
The Xiaomi 17T is expected to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 67W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. The phone is also said to feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, along with an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
