The Vivo X500 Pro Max has surfaced in a new leak that hints at a significant camera upgrade for the company’s next flagship smartphone. While Vivo is yet to officially confirm the device, the latest information points to major changes in imaging hardware alongside a next-generation flagship chipset.

Vivo X500 Pro Max camera specifications tipped

According to details shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X500 Pro Max could feature a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony LOFIC primary sensor with a large 1/1.28-inch sensor size. LOFIC technology is designed to improve dynamic range by preserving highlight and shadow details in challenging lighting conditions, helping deliver more natural-looking photos in scenes with strong contrast. Rumors suggest that the primary sensor could be the forthcoming Sony LYT-838.

The handset is also expected to include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with an 85mm focal length. The periscope sensor is said to measure 1/1.4 inches and may support high-quality telephoto macro photography. Vivo is also tipped to introduce an upgraded optical image stabilization system to improve sharpness and stability while capturing distant subjects.

Apart from the camera hardware, the Vivo X500 Pro Max is rumored to debut with MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9600 Pro processor, which is expected to be the company’s first smartphone chipset built on TSMC’s 2nm process. On the front, it may house a 6.85-inch OLED 2K LTPO screen with support for a 144Hz refresh rate and it may pack a massive battery of around 8,000mAh capacity.

Previous database listings have suggested that the X500 Pro Max may also release in the global markets, although Vivo has not announced any launch timeline or confirmed the specifications. As with all early leaks, these details should be treated with caution until the company makes an official announcement.
