HMD Global is giving the feature phone segment a fresh boost with the Nokia 300 4G Power Bank, a tough, no-nonsense device that can also charge other gadgets in an emergency.

Now available for pre-order in the Philippines, this phone is aimed at people who want something reliable, long-lasting, and straightforward rather than another full-blown smartphone. It’s perfect for outdoor trips, remote work, or as a solid backup device.
At just PHP 1,990 (roughly $32 or €28), it’s very affordable. It features a compact 2.4-inch QVGA screen and a rugged, anti-slip body with IP65 dust and water resistance. It feels like a spiritual successor to older tough Nokia phones like the 800 Tough or the more recent HMD Terra M.

The real highlight is its 3,700mAh battery, one of the biggest you’ll find in a feature phone. It supports 18W fast charging and delivers serious endurance: up to 45 days on standby, 26 hours of talk time or music, and around 23 hours if you keep the powerful torch on. Speaking of the torch, it’s reportedly five times brighter than typical feature phone lights and even twice as bright as the iPhone 16 Pro’s flash.
What makes it a little more useful is the reverse wired charging feature. With the press of a side button, the phone turns into a portable power bank, offering up to 5W output. It’s not enough to meaningfully charge a smartphone, but it can power smaller accessories. The box even includes a handy 4-in-1 USB cable with multiple adapters.
The Nokia 300 4G Power Bank comes in Black, Green, and Gold colors and runs a lightweight software platform focused on calls, SMS, and FM radio. There’s also a microSD slot (up to 32GB), 4G support, and a basic 0.3MP rear camera.
Pre-orders are now live on Shopee in the Philippines, with wider availability possibly coming later depending on demand.
