Casio has added a new line of analog watches to its global catalog. The MTP-E735AR series, which appeared on the company’s international website earlier this month, is a set of five quartz watches featuring integrated stainless steel bracelets and patterned dials. The watches are expected to launch in various markets, though Casio has not yet shared official pricing or exact availability details.
Design Details
The design of the MTP-E735AR incorporates an integrated bracelet, a style where the watch case transitions directly into the metal band. The case is made of stainless steel with a brushed silver-tone finish. It measures 44.5mm lug-to-lug, 37.5mm across, and 8.4mm thick, resulting in a relatively compact and thin profile for everyday wear. The total weight of the watch with the stainless steel band is 89 grams.
For the dial, Casio is using an arabesque-style motif rather than a standard flat or sunburst finish. The swirling pattern covers the entire face and is paired with stylized hour markers. The series includes five color variants: black (MTP-E735AR-1AV), deep blue (2A1V), pale ice blue (2A2V), turquoise blue (2A3V), and white (7AV).
Four of the models use silver-tone hands and indices that match the case hardware. The white-dial variant uses blue hands and markers to maintain legibility against the lighter background.
Internally, the watches rely on a standard Casio quartz movement. They run on an SR920SW battery, which the company states will last for approximately three years before needing a replacement. The movement has an accuracy rating of ±20 seconds per month and includes a traditional three-hand timekeeping setup.
For daily utility, there is a day and date window positioned at the 3 o’clock mark. The day display is bilingual and can be toggled between English and Arabic. The dial is covered by standard mineral glass, and the case has a water resistance rating of 50 meters (5 bar). This rating means the watch can handle brief water exposure or surface swimming, though it is not intended for diving.
While pricing remains unconfirmed, the use of mineral glass and a basic quartz movement indicates that the MTP-E735AR series will likely be positioned as an entry-level option when it reaches retailers later this fall.
