Casio is bringing its newest streetwear collaboration to the US market. The company has listed the DW-5600BEP-9, a G-Shock designed in partnership with Tokyo-based apparel brand BlackEyePatch, on its US website. The watch originally launched in Japan earlier in September and is now scheduled to go on sale in the US on October 9th, 2026, for $165.
Design Details
This release marks the third collaboration between Casio and BlackEyePatch. The new model uses the DW-5600 as its base, a standard G-Shock silhouette that shares its square shape with the original DW-5000.
The exterior features a gold-tone bezel and band paired with a standard black digital display. Casio indicates that the colorway is intended to reflect the hip-hop culture that influences the BlackEyePatch brand. The watch also features an engraved BlackEyePatch logo on the case back and comes in custom packaging.
Regarding materials, the DW-5600BEP-9 incorporates bio-based resin for its case, bezel, and band. The case measures 48.9 x 42.8 x 13.4 millimeters and weighs 53 grams, making it relatively standard for the 5600 series. The digital display is covered by basic mineral glass.
Internally, the watch runs on a CR2016 battery, which Casio estimates will last for five years. It includes the standard set of G-Shock features: shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, and a multi-function alarm.
It also has a flash alert system that links a buzzer and the LED backlight to alarms and timers. The backlight is Casio’s Super Illuminator, which emits a white LED for visibility in the dark. The timekeeping module maintains an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month and features a full auto-calendar.
