At the end of the previous week, Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO had announced that it will begin the reservations of iQOO gaming phone’s new variant with 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage on April 14 in China. Starting from today, the Chinese manufacturer has started with pre-order aforementioned model through its official online store. The new model carries a price tag of 3,698 Yuan (~$550).

The Vivo iQOO smartphone with 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of native storage will be only available in Optic Blue color. The sales of the smartphone will begin on April 18. The Chinese manufacturer is also selling another 12 GB RAM variant of the phone with 256 GB of inbuilt storage. It carries a price tag of 4,298 Yuan (~$640) and comes in Optic Blue color option only.

Vivo iQOO 12 GB RAM, 128 GB storage

The Vivo iQOO smartphone also comes in three models such as 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage that is priced at 3,598 Yuan, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage that costs 3,298 Yuan (~$598) and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage that carries a price tag of 2,998 Yuan (~$446). These models come in Optic Blue and Lava Orange color variants. The 6 GB RAM model is the only variant that supports 22.5W fast charging. The other variants of the iQOO phone is equipped with 44W rapid charging.

Vivo iQOO Specifications

The Vivo iQOO features a 6.41-inch AMOLED waterdrop-style notched display that supports full HD+ resolution. It is equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader. The Snapdragon 855 mobile platform drives the phone along with 4,000mAh battery.

The rear shell of the smartphone features a vertical triple camera setup. It includes a Sony IMX363 12-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For capturing selfies, it is equipped with a 12-megapixel front camera.

In related news, Vivo is reportedly planning to launch the iQOO phone in India in late May or in the month of June. The Chinese firm will be also launching another iQOO gaming phone in India later this year. Hence, there is a possibility that the company may launch its other gaming phone first in China before making in available in other markets.
