Vivo on Thursday launched the all-new Vivo S10 series in the Chinese market featuring two smartphones – the vanilla Vivo S10 and the Vivo S10 Pro. The smartphones come with impressive specs like the Dimensity 1100 chipset and a whopping 108MP camera.

The Vivo S10 is priced at CNY 2,799(~$433) for the base 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and CNY 2,999(~$464) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. On the other hand, the Vivo S10 Pro is priced at  CNY 3,399(~$526) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.

The series will go on pre-orders starting from July 15 in China and will go on sale later on July 23. It will be available in four color options – Black, White, Lime, and Gradient.

Vivo S10 and Vivo S10 Pro Specifications

The Vivo S10 and the S10 Pro come in the same design featuring a 6.44-inch notch display. It is a SuperAMOLED panel with a Full-HD+ resolution and 90Hz high refresh rate. The series shares a common selfie camera sporting a 44MP + 8MP dual front camera system. Interestingly, the front camera has a dual-LED selfie flash on the top bezel.

The only major thing where they both differ is in the rear camera setup. The S10 has a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP setup, whereas, the Pro boasts a 108MP + 8MP + 2MP selfie triple camera system. Just like the predecessor, the cameras on these phones are the major highlights.

Under the hood, the series is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It has a 3,970mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging technology. The phones feature an under-display fingerprint scanner for extra security. Both phones run on OriginOS based on Android 11 out of the box.
