Xiaomi has launched a new beard trimmer for the Indian market. The product dubbed Xiaomi Beard Trimmer 2 is a successor to the Mi Beard Trimmer which was launched in India in June 2019. Xiaomi only launched a cheaper version, the Mi Beard Trimmer 1C, in June last year. Xiaomi Beard Trimmer 2

The Xiaomi Beard Trimmer 2 features ultra-precise self-sharpening blades and is offered with 40 length settings. The trimmer uses rounded stainless steel blades guaranteeing a skin-friendly experience. The gadget comes with an IPX7 waterproof rating meaning it can withstand submersion in water for up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. This also means it can be used inside the shower without fear of damaging it.

It also packs a durable battery that can last up to 90 minutes on a single full charge. One unique feature in this model is the LED battery display and travel lock display on the body. There is no display on the previous models.

The non-scratching teeth offer more comfortable usage while the blades output up to 6000 oscillations per min delivering accurate cuts and even shape. The product comes in a compact ergonomic design with a matte black finish. The design allows for a sturdy grip allowing you to reach tough spots effortlessly.

It charges via a USB Type-C port and can be fully charged in 2 hours. As stated earlier, a full charge lasts up to 90 minutes of usage while a 5-minute charge delivers up to 12 minutes of usage. You can also use the device directly plugged into the charger.

As for the pricing and availability details, the Mi Beard Trimmer 2 is priced at Rs. 1999 (~$27), but it will be available with an initial price offer of Rs. 1799 (~$24). The product will go on sale starting from October 2nd via Amazon.in, mi.com, and Mi Home stores.
