Nothing, a mysterious start-up bought into existence by former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei – has got people excited about its upcoming smartphone, dubbed Nothing Phone (1). The start-up recently confirmed that its first smartphone will debut sometime in the summer. Ahead of the launch, tipster Yogesh Brar is here with some information that might be of interest to Nothing’s Indian fans.

According to the noted tipster, Nothing Phone (1) is likely to be manufactured in India, and this will control the cost of the smartphone. The tipster also adds that Nothing Phone (1) will soon enter the production stage.

Seeing that the smartphone is yet to enter the production stage, we can say that it’s still at least a month away from the launch. Nothing is yet to make an official announcement about the launch date of the smartphone. However, we can expect to get a confirmation very soon, probably by the end of this week.

So far, the company has officially confirmed that the smartphone will sport a transparent back, an aluminum mid-frame, wireless charging support, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset under the hood. Moreover, it is also known that the smartphone will be available for purchase through Flipkart in India.
