Xiaomi has a slew of flagship phones waiting to go official in China. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra, which is believed to be the company’s first Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset powered phone, has been certified by China’s 3C authority. As usual, the certification has revealed the fast-charging capabilities of the smartphone.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra from last year houses a 5,000mAh battery. It supports 67W fast charging, 67W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. There are a lot of rumors that the Xiaomi phone with the model number 2203121C (via) that was found in 3C’s database is the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra.

The 3C certification of the device reveals that it could be accompanied by an MDY-12-EF charger, which supports up to 67W rapid charging. Hence, it appears that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra may not offer any improvements when it comes to wired charging as compared to the predecessor model. It remains to be seen whether the 12 Ultra offers faster wireless charging.

Rumors have it that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will feature a 6.6-inch QHD+ 120Hz display and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Its rear-facing camera unit may comprise a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 48-megapixel periscope zoom snapper, and a 16-megapixel portrait lens.

In recent days, other Xiaomi flagship phones have also been spotted at the 3C certification site. It has been found that the Xiaomi 12S (2206123SC), Xiaomi 12S Pro Dimensity 9000 edition (2207122MC), and Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 (22061218C) may also arrive with support for 67W fast charging. However, the Xiaomi 12S Pro (2206122SC) variant, which will feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, may support 120W fast charging.
