Huawei is rolling HarmonyOS 2.1.0.143 update to the MatePad Paper ink tablet. The Huawei MatePad Paper was launched back in February and it features a 10.3-inch e-ink display and supports M-Pencil. The new update brings support for sharing TXT documents and optimizes the display effect of some user interfaces.

The Huawei MatePad Paper was launched in February 2022 at MWC 2022. The tablet competes with the likes of Amazon Kindle. It was launched with HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system and packs a 10.3-inch E-ink display with a screen-to-body ratio of 86.3 percent, a pixel density of 227 pixels per inch (PPI), and a resolution of 1,872 x 1,404 pixels.Huawei MatePad PaperHuawei MatePad Paper draws power from a Hexa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In addition, the device is compatible with Huawei’s Second-generation M-Pencil and offers a latency rate of 26 microseconds.

The tablet has Wi-Fi 6+ and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button. Huawei says it can last up to four weeks on standby. The tablet weighs 360 grams and is available in black, khaki, and blue colors. Further, the e-reader comes equipped with HiSuite, the file manager for Android devices, and allows you to sync data from a PC or laptop. Moreover, it has four microphones for recording audio and dual speakers featuring the company’s proprietary Histen 7.0 sound effects.
