Google has just launched a new Chromecast called the Chromecast with Google TV (HD). It has the same look and design as the Chromecast with Google TV 4K. However, the new device is capable of a maximum streaming resolution of 1080p (Full HD).
Chromecast with Google TV (HD) SPECS & features
The Chromecast with Google TV (HD) is a plug-and-play device for streaming content on your TV. It uses an HDMI port for connection. It has support for Full HD 1080p HDR streaming, HDR10, HDR10+, HLG video formats, and Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and Dolby Atmos.
The streaming stick comes with a voice remote that includes shortcuts to apps like YouTube and Netflix. There is also a Google Assistant hotkey, and the volume controls are on the side of the device, similar to a smartphone.
Once connected to a TV, the stick will run Android TV OS with the Google TV interface. The top of the Google TV UI features four main tabs: Search, Home, Apps, and Library. You also get access to the Google Play Store, which has over 10,000 apps and games. Other than that, the streaming stick has support for dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth.

The Chromecast with Google TV (HD) is priced at $30 in the US and €40 in Germany. It is priced at Rs 4,499 in India. However, customers can pick one up for Rs 4,099 during the Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale.
