Chinese tech giant Lenovo has unveiled a new product under the Xiaoxin brand. The product is dubbed Xiaoxin 5-in-1 multi-function docking station D1 designed for laptops. A USB docking station transforms your laptop into a desktop powerhouse, connecting it to displays, LAN, the internet, printers, and other devices. The display connections are routed to the back of the laptop docking station, resulting in a cleaner desk surface with a greater working area.
The Lenovo Xiaoxin 5-in-1 Multi-function Docking Station D1 is equipped with five ports of which three of them are USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. There is also a 100W Power Delivery (PD) Type-C port and a 4K 30Hz HDMI port. The docking station also has a new interface status indicator which shows the ports that are occupied through light indicators.
As can be seen from the poster, the docking station is available in two color options – silver and gray colors. It features a minimalist design with a rectangular shape. The design also includes rounded edges on one end and a curved and flat edge on the opposite end.
The company is yet to announce the pricing and availability details of the device but we expect it to hit the shelves in China pretty soon. Until that happens, we’ll have no idea of the pricing.
