OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus Nord CE 3 in India in March. It appears that there are a couple of more Nord-branded phones waiting in the pipeline to go official in the country. As per a tweet by tipster Mukul Sharma, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G may launch in the next few months in the country.
By sharing the above image, the tipster claimed that he spotted the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G moniker on OnePlus India’s website. Unfortunately, there is no information on the specifications of the device. The moniker reveals that it will be succeeding the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, which debuted in April 2022.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G debuted as a rebranded version of its distant cousin, the Realme V25, which remained exclusive to the Chinese market. Hence, there is a possibility that the Nord CE 3 Lite could be a rebadged version of an Oppo or Realme phone.
The Nord CE 3, which is expected to debut in March in India, is likely to feature a 6.7-inch IPS LCD FHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 695 chipset, up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. It may come with a 16-megapixel front camera and a 108-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) triple camera unit. It will run on OxygenOS 13-bsaed Android 13 OS.
OnePlus will launch the OnePlus Ace 2V featuring the Dimensity 9000 SoC on March 7 in China. Speculations are rife that the device may get rebranded as the OnePlus Nord 3 in the Indian market.
