Apple will be launching the iPhone 15 lineup later this year but ahead of the launch, reports about the next year’s iPhone 16 series have started surfacing online.
In the latest development, analyst Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants has revealed that the premium models of the iPhone 16 series will come with larger displays.
He says that the Apple iPhone 16 Pro will come with a 6.3-inch display panel while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature an even larger 6.9-inch screen. He noted that the screen sizes are currently rounded off, and the actual size with two decimals will be revealed later this month.
If this turns out to be true, then it will be the first time Apple adopted such a large display size for the iPhone lineup. But it’s on trend, with the smartphone’s display size increasing with almost every new iteration.
As per the rumors, along with the iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max, the company will also launch another high-end model in the lineup, dubbed Apple iPhone 16 Ultra. It will be a top-of-the-line offering with features like additional camera improvements, a bigger display, and more.
