As we all know, Fossil is bidding farewell to the smartwatch market. Now looks like to clear out the stockroom, Fossil is offering over 70% discount on their Gen 6 smartwatches and yes, it includes both WearOS and hybrid models.

The sale is currently live on Fossil’s official site where you can grab the Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch, either Hybrid or WearOS, at a price of just $79. That’s a massive 73% discount from the original launch price of $300.

It’s a great chance for smartwatch enthusiasts to add a WearOS device to their collection at a bargain price. And even though the company bid adieu to the smartwatch business, these smartwatches should work well for at least a couple more years.

Fossil itself confirmed that its existing smartwatch models will get software updates “for the next few years.”

The hardware packs impressive hardware too. You get a 1.28-inch AMOLED display with 416 x 416 pixels resolution and 326 ppi. The smartwatch was the first to house a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 Plus SoC and is paired with 1GB of RAM, and 8 GB of storage.

There’s a 300 mAh battery that keeps things powered and it charges around 80% within 30 minutes. To offer precise health and wellness tracking, it houses both biosensors and normal sensors, including an accelerometer, altimeter, ambient light, compass, gyroscope, off-body IR, SpO2, off-body IR, PPG heart rate, and GPS.

Fossil Gen 6 Smartwatch has a 3ATM water resistance rating, and further waterproof speakers and microphones. For connectivity, users will get Bluetooth 5 LE, NFC, and WiFi support. Unlike the Apple Watch or Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch, the Fossil Smartwatch can easily pair with your Android or iOS smartphone.

At just $79, the Fossil Gen 6 is a steal deal! If you’ve ever been curious about trying out a Fossil smartwatch, this fire sale is a great time to snag one at an unbeatable price.
