Aoostar has launched its latest mini PC called Gem 12 Pro Max in the Chinese market. This follows the Gem 12 Pro launched earlier this year. Let’s check out the specifications and pricing.

1. Aoostar Gem 12 Pro Max Specifications
The Gem 12 Pro Max combines a compact 13×13×6 cm design with a durable aluminum alloy body, crafted through advanced processes like CNC machining and anodizing. It features a customizable secondary display for photo albums, backgrounds, time, and live monitoring.
It comes with the AMD Ryzen 8040 Series, specifically the Ryzen 7 8845HS processor, which sports an 8-core, 16-thread Zen 4 architecture. This processor operates at a base clock of 3.8 GHz and achieves a maximum boost clock of 5.1 GHz, offering exceptional speed and efficiency.
For graphics, it equips the AMD Radeon 780M, which features 12 GPU cores based on the RDNA3 architecture. This integrated GPU supports AV1 hardware encoding/decoding and provides AI acceleration with 16 TOPS performance, making it ideal for gaming, multitasking, and creative workloads.
The Gem 12 supports dual-channel DDR5 memory with speeds of up to 5600 MHz, with each slot handling up to 64 GB, for a maximum capacity of 128 GB. For storage, it features dual M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 slots, allowing expansion up to 2 TB with high-speed solid-state drives.
For cooling, it equips an advanced VC heat sink that supports a 75W TDP performance mode, configurable through BIOS. The Mini PC sports dual 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 for seamless and robust connectivity.
The port selection includes a USB4 port, a full-function USB-C port, HDMI 2.1, DP 2.1, and traditional USB 3.2 Gen2 and USB 2.0 ports. It also features an OCuLink interface (PCIe 4.0 x4) for external GPU or storage expansions, ensuring unmatched flexibility.
In terms of visuals, the device supports 4K 120Hz and 8K 60Hz displays for immersive viewing experiences. It also comes with fingerprint unlocking, compatible with Windows Hello.
2. Pricing and Availability
The Gem 12 Pro Max mini PC is available in several configurations to suit different needs. The barebones version is priced at 2299 yuan ($317), while the fully configured options include 16GB RAM + 1TB SSD for 3099 yuan ($428), 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD for 3399 yuan ($469), and the top-tier 64GB RAM + 2TB SSD for 4599 yuan ($635). The device will go on sale starting December 11.
Earlier this year, Aoostar also unveiled the Godx Mini PC, powered by the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processor and Radeon RX 6600 LE graphics. Additionally, Gmktec introduced the G6 Mini PC, featuring the AMD Ryzen 3 5425U, WiFi 6E connectivity, and support for up to 4TB of storage.
