Last week in China, Realme unveiled the Realme Neo 7, a sub-flagship phone with the Dimensity 9300+ chip and a 7,000mAh battery. Today, the company made it available for purchase for the first time. The brand confirmed that the Neo 7 sold out in just five minutes after it became available for purchase.

Realme Neo 7 achieves impressive first-sale results

According to Realme, the Realme Neo 7 has made a striking debut by surpassing the combined first-day sales of its predecessors, the Neo 6 series, within just five minutes of its launch. Priced attractively at 2,099 Yuan (~$290), the Neo 7 can be purchased in three colors, such as Meteor Black, Submarine Blue, and Starship.

Despite housing a huge 7,000mAh battery, the Neo 7 measures only 8.56mm in thickness. The battery utilizes high-performance electrolytes and high-transparency electrode sheets to boost battery energy density to 800 Wh/L. The Neo 7 also features the flagship-grade Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset.

With a resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels, the Realme Neo 7’s 6.78-inch BOE S2 display offers a peak brightness of 6,000 nits, 10.7 billion colors, and 8T LTPO technology for hardware-level full brightness DC dimming. It comes with IP69 and IP68 dust and water resistance ratings and offers a four-year battery warranty with a free replacement if the battery capacity drops below 80% during this period.

For photography, the Neo 7 includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 + 8-megapixel dual-camera setup and a 16-megapixel front camera. The device also includes Realme UI 6-based Android 15, an X-axis linear motor, stereo dual speakers, dual-frequency GPS, tri-band Beidou, wet hand touch support, Wi-Fi 7, 5.5G network compatibility, universal infrared remote control, and multifunctional NFC.
