The much-awaited Oppo Find N5 foldable phone is set to go official next month (February) in China. The device will offer several improvements over the Find N3, which debuted in 2023. While the company has started teasing the arrival of the N5 in China, it has yet to reveal its full design. A leaked image now circulating on Chinese social media provides a first look at the rear design of the phone. However, while it offers a glimpse of the camera arrangement, the complete look remains a mystery as the device is still enclosed in a confidential case.

The above image showcases the Find N5 in a confidentiality case. Nevertheless, the device seems to feature a round camera module like the recent Find series phones. It houses three cameras, a hole for a microphone, and an LED flash.

The IMEI number 867775079874260 mentioned on the phone’s back leads to the “PKH120” model number in the IMEI database, which was previously spotted in China’s UFCS database. The listing revealed that the PKH120 has a 5,475mAh battery (rated value), which indicates that its typical value could be around 5,600mAh.

The PKH120 model was previously thought to be the Find X8 Mini, but it now appears that it is the Find N5 foldable phone. The radio certification of this device has revealed that it will arrive with support for satellite connectivity. The PKH110 is the other variant of the phone that lacks support for satellite connectivity.

The Find N3 featured a 4,805mAh battery and measured 5.8mm in its unfolded state and 11.7mm when folded. Despite packing a larger battery of approximately 5,600mAh, the Find N5 is expected to become the world’s thinnest foldable phone, with a thickness of just around 4mm when unfolded and less than 9mm in the folded state. Another major highlight of the N5 is that it will be the world’s first foldable phone to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
