Yesterday, the Oppo Find Product Manager revealed that Oppo will be soon releasing the first teaser of the upcoming Oppo Find N5 foldable phone. Today, the brand rolled out the following poster to tease the N5’s design. Additionally, it has confirmed that the foldable phone will break cover in February in China.

Oppo Find N5 teaser

According to Oppo Chief Product Officer and OnePlus founder Pete Lau, the Oppo Find N5 will be the world’s thinnest foldable phone. To hint at its thickness, the company has compared it with a pencil. It indicates that the N5 in its unfolded state will be thinner than a pencil, which measures around 7mm in thickness. There’s a possibility that the N5 may measure around 4mm in the unfolded state and under 10m in the folded state.

The Opo Find N5 also features a titanium build, indicating improved durability. Speculation is rife that the N5 will arrive with an IPX8 rating. To recall, the Find N3, which debuted in 2023, lacked an IP rating.

Reports also state that the Find N5 will pack a battery of around 6,000mAh capacity. It may support 80W or 100W fast charging and 50W magnetic wireless charging. The phone is expected to run on ColorOS 15-based Android 15. Under the hood, it will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

There are reports that the internal screen of the Find N5 will support a 2K resolution. Its rear camera module is expected to sport a thinner design and house an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom support.

Rumors suggest that the Oppo Find N5 might not be the only device set to launch in China in February. Rumors are rife that the Oppo Watch X3 series of smartwatches will also debut with the N5. As far as the Find X8 Ultra and X8 Min are concerned, both devices are expected to launch in March in China.

The Find N5 is also expected to be released globally, probably in some Southeast Asian markets. In markets like the US, Europe, and India, it may get rebranded as the OnePlus Open 2.
