The first Vivo V80-series phone, dubbed the Vivo V80 Lite 5G, has been gradually picking up new certifications. Recently, the device was spotted with model numbers V2643 and V2644 on the Bluetooth SIG certification. Now, a new finding gives an idea of what to expect from the V80 Lite’s specifications.
Vivo V80 Lite 5G: What to expect?
In a new development, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G has appeared with the above-mentioned model numbers, as well as V2576, in the Google Play Supported Devices List. Interestingly, the V2576 model number is also associated with the Vivo S2.
This suggests that the Vivo S2 could be rebranded as the Vivo V80 Lite 5G in other markets. Therefore, the V80 Lite is expected to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display offering a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness.
On the front, it may feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera, while the rear panel could house a horizontal camera module with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 main camera, an additional camera, and an Aura Light LED.
Under the hood, the device could be equipped with the Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset and a 7,050mAh battery. It is expected to run OriginOS 6-based Android 16. Other expected features include dual speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and an ultra-thin design measuring just 7.39mm in thickness.
While Vivo has not officially confirmed the existence of the Vivo V80 Lite 5G, the recent findings suggest that it could make its debut soon, possibly later this month.
