Vivo recently held the global launch of the Vivo X500 series of photography-focused flagship phones in late October. Alongside the phones, the brand also unveiled the Vivo Buds Clip, which had so far been limited to the Chinese market. The open-ear clip-on earbuds are now officially going global, with sales already live in Europe.
Vivo Buds Clip specifications and features

The Vivo Buds Clip use an open-ear clip-on design that rests on the edge of your ear instead of sealing the ear canal. Each bud weighs just 5.2g and hooks on through a flexible NiTi memory alloy bridge, while the symmetrical shape lets them fit either ear.
Audio comes from 12mm dual-magnet drivers with support for the LDAC codec and Hi-Res Wireless certification. Vivo also offers multiple spatial audio modes, a directional anti-leakage mode, and a 10-band EQ to tune the sound.
For calls, the earbuds pair dual mics with a VPU bone conduction sensor and AI call noise reduction. Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 5.4 with three-device multipoint, and the buds carry an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
Battery life is rated at up to 10 hours on a single charge and up to 42 hours with the case. A quick 10-minute top-up is said to deliver up to three hours of playback.
Some smart features, including real-time translation and AI-powered transit notifications, require a compatible Vivo or iQOO phone. The earbuds come in Aurora Purple, Moonlight White, and Stardust Black colors.
Vivo Buds Clip price and availability
The Vivo Buds Clip are priced at €179 in Europe, while Italy lists them at €179.90. They went on sale after Vivo’s October 27 event in Tenerife, where the brand also launched the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max in the region.
For reference, the earbuds debuted in China on September 21 at 699 yuan (~$98) for the standard version and 799 yuan (~$112) for the wireless charging version. Vivo is also offering 50 percent off accessories and wearables as part of its X500 series preorder deals, which run until November 30.
