Vivo has announced OriginOS 7, its latest custom skin featuring Android 17 at the core. The update introduces meaningful changes across the system, major visual upgrades, and new AI features. There are plenty of exciting upgrades bundled into the update package.
If you’re rocking a Vivo or iQOO device, you may be wondering when the OriginOS 7 update will reach your device. Well, the company has published the complete rollout details, but only for the Chinese market. The global announcement is scheduled for September 21. That’s when we’ll know about the wider rollout plans.
OriginOS 7 official rollout timeline
While this rollout plan only applies to the Chinese market, global models typically start receiving the update a few weeks later. The list also tells us which global models will receive the update.

While the list of eligible devices is likely going to remain the same for global release, the rollout timeline will vary. Global models usually receive the same update a few weeks later.
Regarding global plans, Vivo has already announced the OriginOS 7 Preview Program for the iQOO 15 and Vivo X300 Pro, with full rollout details to be announced on September 21st.
