Honor just launched its first gaming tablet in the Win series, alongside the Win 2, Win RT 2, and Win Turbo 2 phones.

The tablet, called the Honor WIN Pad, is built around an 8.4″ OLED display. It runs at 240Hz with a 2304 × 1440 resolution, 324 PPI, peak brightness of 6000 nits, and a 93% screen-to-body ratio. The panel supports 240Hz in more than 40 games, and also offers native 185Hz and 165Hz options for a similar number of titles.

Under the hood is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with a 15000rpm turbo fan that lowers the temperature by up to 8°C. There’s a dual X-axis linear motors for responsive haptics. Battery capacity is a hefty 10,000mAh, with 66W fast charging, 27W reverse charging, and the ability to charge and discharge separately so sessions can keep going longer.

On the software side there’s a new “Geek Center” that lets you customize settings like screen refresh rate, memory scan size, and low-battery protection, then save them as local profiles. There’s also a “Full Throttle” performance mode when you need an extra boost.

Pricing and availability:

  • 12GB+256GB: 4499 yuan (~ $673)
  • 16GB+512GB: 5499 yuan (~ $823)

Limited-time offers and national subsidies bring the prices down to 3,699 yuan (~$553) for the 12GB+256GB version and 4,699 yuan (~$703) for the 16GB+512GB version.

Overall, the Honor WIN Tablet packs a high-refresh OLED, flagship chipset, active cooling, and a big battery into an 8.4″ body. With the subsidized pricing and those deeper customization options, it’s clearly aimed at people who want a dedicated portable gaming machine rather than a regular tablet.
