OnePlus has updated these devices to Android 17

OnePlus has begun rolling out Android 17 update to its devices earlier than it promised — but it doesn’t come with the legacy OxygenOS skin. Instead, the Android 17 update for OnePlus phones brings Oppo’s ColorOS 17 software skin as a part of major restructuring to its software strategy, which was announced a few months back.

The first phase of the rollout was scheduled to go live from October 29, but OnePlus began the rollout a week earlier on October 22. The OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Pad 4 are a part of this phase. Surprisingly, the update was released for more devices ahead of the schedule. So, we’ve prepared a list of OnePlus devices getting the Android 17-based ColorOS 17 update.

List of OnePlus devices getting the Android 17 update

• OnePlus 15
• OnePlus 15R
• OnePlus 13
• OnePlus 13s
• OnePlus 13R
• OnePlus Pad 4

OnePlus usually rolls out updates in batches, and so the availability depends on your region. You can navigate to Settings > System & Updates > Software update to manually check for the latest updates, if you haven’t received an update notification yet.

You can also try the Release Candidate Program to get updates early. For this, go to Settings > System & Updates > Software update > Beta Program and tap the “update now” button.

The Android 17 update with ColorOS 17 skin will gradually roll out to more OnePlus flagships in November, and a couple of mid-range phones. The company aims to release the update to all the devices by the first quarter of 2027. You can check the complete rollout schedule on this page.
