Anker has introduced a new charger in China, the 160W Smart Display Charger Pro+, which addresses a common issue with third-party power bricks: compatibility with proprietary fast-charging standards. Priced at 699 yuan (about $103) during its launch window on JD.com, the new model updates Anker’s existing lineup by adding direct support for Xiaomi’s 120W MiPPS and Huawei’s 66W SCP protocols.

For users with devices from these brands, this means the charger can deliver full-speed power without relying on the original brick that came in the box. Alongside these specific protocols, the charger includes three USB-C ports and supports standard formats like 140W USB Power Delivery 3.1, 100W PPS, QC 3.0, FCP, AFC, and the unified UFCS standard. This covers most modern hardware, allowing it to charge laptops, tablets, handheld gaming consoles, and phones from Apple, Samsung, Lenovo, and others. The maximum combined output across all ports is capped at 160W.

On the front of the device, there is a built-in color display. Its primary function is to show real-time power output and details about connected devices, including identifying specific Apple hardware by name. The charger also includes Bluetooth, connecting to an Anker companion app. Through the app, users can change the display’s screensaver, monitor power draw, and manually turn individual ports on or off. The software also provides options for scheduled charging and manual power allocation down to 1W increments.

Internally, the charger uses a system Anker calls PowerIQ 5.0 to manage power distribution. The system checks the power requirements of connected devices every two minutes and redirects unused wattage to where it is needed most.

The hardware itself is relatively dense, measuring 65 x 52 x 35 mm. To handle the heat of a 160W output in a small form factor, it relies on three internal temperature sensors. Anker says the charger can sustain a 140W draw from a single port for 24 hours without dropping performance, a metric that has been certified by TÜV Rheinland. Additionally, the device supports over-the-air firmware updates, meaning Anker can add new charging protocols or adjust software features in the future.

Power banks are one of the most common tech accessories in modern tech, but Anker’s founder and CEO believes their time may eventually run out.

According to a report from China, Anker founder and CEO, Meng Yang, recently said in an interview that power banks are unlikely to grow into a product category worth hundreds of billions of yuan. In fact, he suggested that they could even “die in a few years.”

Yang compared power banks to older consumer electronics products such as MP3 players, cassette players, and CD players. He argued that many gadgets have a relatively short life cycle before they are replaced by newer technologies.

“Consumer electronics are actually products that come and go quickly,” Yang said. “If you have bought an MP3 player, you have most likely also bought a cassette player or a CD player. The time span between when you first buy these products and when you stop buying them is only about 10 years.”

Anker is known for power banks

The comments are notable because Anker built its reputation on portable chargers. Founded in 2011, the company expanded rapidly in overseas markets with its power bank business. However, the company’s business has changed significantly over the years.

Public financial data shows that Anker generated 30.514 billion yuan in revenue in 2025, up 23.49% year over year. Charging and energy storage products brought in 15.402 billion yuan, accounting for around half of the company’s total revenue. But traditional power banks are no longer the main driver of the business as Anker now offers a wider range of charging accessories, smart devices, and energy storage products.

The company continues to grow in 2026. In the first quarter, Anker reported revenue of 7.608 billion yuan, an increase of 26.93% from the same period last year. However, net profit attributable to shareholders fell 4.87% year over year to 472 million yuan.

Yang’s remarks also come after Anker acknowledged that it had expanded its power bank lineup too aggressively. At the 2025 annual shareholders’ meeting, Anker reportedly admitted it once had too many charging product models on the market. In 2024 alone, the company reportedly sold around 100 different power bank models.

The company admitted that such a large lineup created quality control challenges. “There should never be 100 models,” Anker reportedly told shareholders, adding that no company could realistically maintain the quality of 100 different power bank products.

While the need for powerbanks hasn’t shrunk in this day and age, Yang believes they could eventually follow the same path as other once-essential gadgets that slowly disappeared as technology evolved.

Anker has launched its new Prime 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charger with TEC air-cooling technology in China. The charger is set to go on sale today at 10 AM for an introductory price of 1,199 yuan (~ $177)

The station comes in Anker’s signature Space Gray finish and measures 169 x 125 x 138 mm. It weighs 620 grams and can charge three Apple devices at the same time, including an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods.

The standout feature here is a 1.62-inch touchscreen panel built into the base of the charger. The display can show charging power and temperature information in real time. You can also switch between different charging modes and adjust charging settings directly from the screen.

The charger supports touch-based controls through AnkerSense intelligent interaction technology. And you can also use the touchscreen for a few handy shortcuts like double-tap to enter sleep mode, press and hold for two seconds to turn off the display, and hold for seven seconds to reconnect Bluetooth. A 15-second hold resets the device.

To improve charging performance, Anker has equipped the charger with built-in TEC air-cooling technology. The cooling system helps lower the phone’s temperature during wireless charging, allowing for more stable and efficient charging speeds. The display can also monitor device temperatures in real time.

In addition, you can view the charging details through a companion mobile app. The charger also uses Anker’s ActiveShield 5.0 safety system to help ensure safe operation.

According to the company, it supports up to 25W charging for compatible phones, 5W charging for Apple Watch models, and 5W charging for true wireless earbuds. Power is supplied through a USB-C input port.

Anker has announced the release of its new Nano Power Bank (MagGo, Plus) in Japan. The device, which recently launched in China as the Anker Air+ Ultra Slim Magnetic Power Bank (model A1113), is currently available for pre-order on Anker’s Japanese website for ¥11,990 (roughly $75). Pre-orders are expected to begin shipping in late June 2026.

Anker Nano Power Bank (MagGo, Plus) Specs

The power bank has a 10,000mAh capacity, measures 15mm thick, and weighs 215g. It includes Qi2 certification, allowing it to provide up to 15W of magnetic wireless charging to compatible devices. This support covers most iPhones from the 12 series onward running iOS 17.4 or later, though the iPhone 12 mini, 13 mini, and 16e are excluded.

For wired charging, a single USB-C port on the bottom provides up to 30W of output and handles 30W input for recharging the battery itself. If you charge two devices at the same time, the output is capped at 12W for the wired connection and 5W for the wireless connection.

Instead of moving to newer battery technologies like solid-state or sodium-ion, Anker is continuing to use standard lithium-ion cells. The company states that alternative battery types are currently too heavy and bulky for portable power banks.

Based on its own data, Anker says that standard lithium-ion cells offer a better weight-to-capacity ratio and avoid the potential airline travel restrictions or disposal issues that newer battery types might face. Anker refers to this refined version of its battery as Neo Lithium-Ion.

The company has also detailed the safety and hardware monitoring features for this model. The battery uses ATL cells and a fire-resistant chassis. To manage heat during use, the device includes an aluminum alloy heat dissipation layer and high-density graphene.

Additionally, the internal battery management system logs voltage and cell data. You can check the battery’s health and estimated replacement time using Anker’s mobile app, though accessing this specific diagnostic data requires connecting the power bank to a phone with a USB-C cable.

The Anker Nano Power Bank (MagGo, Plus) is currently only offered in black. The white version is scheduled for general release in the fall of 2026.

USB-C hubs are not exactly exciting products. You plug one in, and it gives you more ports. But Anker is trying something a little different with its upcoming Nano USB-C Hub (10-in-1, 240Hz, Display).

This new hub has a built-in display so you can actually see what’s happening with your connected devices. It is set to launch in Japan sometime in fall 2026 at ¥16,990 (roughly $110 USD). And it’s available in two colors: Dark Gray and Silver.

The Nano USB-C connects to your laptop via a single USB-C cable and delivers 10 ports total. On the front, you get a USB-C port with data speeds up to 10Gbps, plus a full-size SD card slot and a microSD card slot.

Flip it around, and the back is where the power users will spend their time. There’s a USB-C charging port that takes up to 100W of power delivery, a USB-A port at 10Gbps, two more USB-A ports at 5Gbps, an HDMI 2.1 port, a DisplayPort 1.4 output, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. Both the HDMI and DisplayPort can push 4K at 144Hz. 

Probably the most interesting part of this USB-C hub is its 240Hz display.  It’s a small screen built into the hub itself that shows you real-time usage data. Anker says it also pairs with a dedicated app for even more detail. 

And while a 240Hz refresh rate on that tiny screen would make it look extremely smooth, it’s also kind of overkill for a screen that just shows numbers.

The hub measures about 130 × 56 × 50mm and weighs around 300g. It’s more of a desk accessory than something you throw in a bag. The compact “Nano” name in the title might be a bit generous.

Robotic lawnmowers are slowly becoming more common, but for many people, the high prices and complicated setup process still make them hard to justify. Anker’s eufy brand is now trying to make the category a bit more approachable with the new eufy C15, its cheapest robotic mower so far.

Compared to the company’s larger E15 and E18 models, the new C15 is aimed at smaller gardens up to 500 square meters. The biggest selling point is probably the setup process. Instead of using perimeter wires or RTK antennas like many competing robotic mowers, the C15 relies entirely on eufy’s camera-based TrueVision system for navigation and mapping.

There’s a front-mounted camera system that handles obstacle detection, positioning, and route planning automatically. That means the mower can avoid objects like pets, toys, garden furniture, and even smaller animals such as hedgehogs while moving around the yard. Initial mapping may still take a little time depending on the layout of the garden, but overall installation looks much simpler than traditional robotic mower setups.

The mower itself uses a 180 mm cutting disc with adjustable cutting heights between 20 mm and 60 mm. It can also manage slopes up to around 32%, which should be enough for most smaller residential gardens.

The C15 was introduced during Anker Day 2026 alongside several other eufy products, including new AI-focused earbuds, a robot vacuum with a fragrance diffuser, and an updated smart doorbell lineup.

Pricing and availability:

The mower has officially gone on sale after its recent pre-order phase. It starts at €899, and eufy is currently including the optional garage accessory for free as part of a limited launch offer. Normally, that bundle costs €999. The C15 is available through eufy’s online store, Amazon, and select retailers.

With features like app-based scheduling, automatic charging, and multi-zone support, the C15 feels like eufy’s attempt to bring premium robotic mower features into a more affordable price range. For homeowners who have been curious about robotic lawn care but didn’t want to deal with wires or expensive flagship models, this one could end up being a much easier entry point.

Soundcore has announced two new premium wireless earbuds at Anker Day 2026 in New York, and this time the company is leaning heavily into AI features alongside the usual audio upgrades.

The new Liberty 5 Pro and Liberty 5 Pro Max are both powered by Soundcore’s new in-house Thus AI chip, which the company claims delivers up to 150 times more processing power compared to the previous generation. That extra performance is being used for things like voice processing, adaptive noise cancellation, and some on-device AI features.

Both earbuds use 9.2mm wool-paper diaphragm drivers and support Dolby Atmos audio. They also come equipped with an 8-microphone setup designed to improve voice pickup during calls. According to Soundcore, the earbuds even received a Guinness World Record recognition for speech quality during phone calls, although real-world performance will obviously matter more than the title itself.

A lot of the core features are shared between the two models. That includes Adaptive ANC 4.0, HearID 5.0 sound personalization, multipoint connectivity, IP55 protection, and battery life rated at around 6.5 hours with ANC enabled or up to 28 hours with the charging case.

The standard Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro model starts at $169.99 and includes a small touchscreen built into the charging case. Users can adjust ANC settings and access quick controls directly from the case itself without opening the app.

The more expensive Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max pushes things further with a much larger 1.78-inch AMOLED touchscreen on the case. Beyond music controls and ANC adjustments, the case can also run an AI-powered voice recording feature. Users can apparently double-tap the case to record meetings or lectures, after which the system generates transcripts and summaries directly on-device without needing an internet connection. Soundcore says the case can store up to 12 hours of recordings locally.

Alongside the earbuds, the company also introduced something called VibeOS, a new AI-focused layer inside the Soundcore app that includes a voice assistant named “Anka.”

Overall, Soundcore seems to be trying to position the Liberty 5 series as more than just another pair of ANC earbuds. Between the built-in displays, AI note-taking tools, and strong focus on call quality, the company is clearly targeting users who want productivity-style features alongside premium audio.

Anker Audio-Visual is introducing a pretty unusual new accessory for its Nebula projector lineup. Called Nebula SpaceFlow, the device is designed to bring simplified 3D projection mapping to regular home users without the complicated setup that these systems usually require.

The accessory was announced on May 21 and is made specifically for the Nebula X1 and X1 Pro projectors. In simple terms, SpaceFlow scans the room, understands the shape of walls and objects around it, and then adjusts projected visuals so they fit naturally into the space.

The hardware itself uses a dual-camera system along with a ToF depth sensor and structured light emitter, which sounds somewhat similar to the type of sensing systems older devices like Microsoft’s Kinect used. Once connected, the accessory automatically scans the room and creates a rough 3D model of the environment. It can reportedly recognize things like doors, windows, furniture, and other obstacles before adjusting the projection accordingly.

What makes the setup more interesting is the AI integration. Through the Nebula Connect app, users can simply describe a scene they want, and the system generates visuals designed to match the room layout. Anker says users can create things like jungle-style environments, themed decorations, or animated wall effects without manually editing projection maps.

There is also a library of over 100 ready-to-use templates for holidays and events, alongside modes like AI Fusion and Free Mode for custom scenes.

Projection mapping used to require expensive software, careful calibration, and a lot of manual work, so SpaceFlow seems aimed at making the process much more approachable for casual users. Whether it actually works smoothly in everyday environments is something reviewers will probably test pretty quickly.

Pricing:

The pricing is also a bit more aggressive than expected. Anker says the Nebula SpaceFlow accessory will normally cost $799, but it is launching at a discounted $399 price for early buyers. It is being sold alongside the Nebula X1 series projectors, which are positioned as high-end 4K triple-laser home theater models with brightness reaching up to 3500 ANSI lumens.

This is probably one of the more experimental projector accessories announced recently, but it does show where companies are trying to take home entertainment next.

Magnetic battery packs are convenient, but the 10,000mAh models usually come with a clear downside: they add a lot of bulk to your phone. Anker is trying to address that with its new Air+ Ultra Slim Magnetic Power Bank (Nano), which recently went on presale in China for 399 yuan ($58).

Anker designed the dimensions so it fits properly on the back of supported iPhones, meaning it shouldn’t block the camera bump or stick out past the bottom edge of the device. It attaches using 17 built-in rubidium magnets, which provide a 12.8N magnetic force. It will also work through magnetic phone cases, provided they are under 1mm thick.

Anker Innovations has confirmed that it is phasing out the Soundcore brand name in China, replacing it with “Anker Audio-Visual.” The announcement came through a local press release and social posts, and the reasoning becomes clear when you look at how the brand has been used recently.

Soundcore has always been closely tied to audio. Speakers, earbuds, headphones. That is what most people associate with it. But over time, Anker also started selling its Nebula projectors under the same umbrella, which is where things started to feel a bit off. A projector sitting under a brand called Soundcore never quite lined up.

The new name fixes that. “Anker Audio-Visual” covers both sides of the product range without any confusion. It feels more straightforward, and probably easier to scale going forward.

For existing users, nothing really changes. Anker says products will continue to appear under both names for a while, and there is no difference in quality or features. This is more of a branding update than anything else.

What is still unclear is how quickly this will expand beyond China. So far, the change has only been announced there. That said, Soundcore has a strong presence in markets like the US and Europe, so a wider rollout seems likely at some point.

For now, if you start seeing “Anker Audio-Visual” where Soundcore used to be, it is not a new product line. Just a new name for the same lineup.
