    The successor of the Oppo Reno 7 Pro for India is different from the original model sold in China. The Oppo Reno 8 Pro for India is actually a rebranded Oppo Reno 8 Pro Plus from China.

    Hence, the phone has a larger display and it is run by Mediatek Dimensity 8100-Max chipset instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.

    Just like its predecessors, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro is also a lifestyle smartphone. The handset’s primary highlights are its design and camera features.

    The phone’s design is inspired by the Oppo Find X series and the Samsung Galaxy S series. It features a glass sandwich body with a metal frame.

    It comes with a 50MP (Sony IMX766) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) triple camera system and a 32MP selfie camera powered by self-developed MariSilicon NPU. A 6.7-inch 10-bit 120Hz AMOLED display sits on the front with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

    Whereas, the lower 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants cost around ₹37,000-₹40,000 and they come with a larger 5,000mAH battery but are limited to 80W fast wired charging.
