With these specs, the Neo 6 model from the Chinese brand is easily one of the best flagship killer contender. It packs high-end specifications at a cost that rivals some upper mid-range handsets.
Realme GT Neo 3
Following the first two models, we finally cross the 30,000 INR budget. However, these models are still a great offering for their price tags. The Realme GT Neo 3 is one such model that starts from 36,999 INR (roughly 467 US Dollars), although, special deals sometimes has its price fall closer to 30,000 INR. While Qualcomm is known for flagship grade mobile chips, MediaTek has caught up in recent times with its Dimensity SoCs. The Dimensity 8100 is a high end chip that is built on the 5nm TSMC process and is capable of offering 90fps gaming experience in certain mobile games. So, with its strong performance and robust specifications, its easily a flagship killer.
iQOO 9T
The iQOO 9T is the latest high end smartphone from the Chinese brand. Despite offering some of the latest features and specifications, the smartphone is still cheaper than ultra premium models like Samsung Galaxy S series or Apple iPhones. It starts from 49,999 INR and offers Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC that is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Under the hood, a large 4,700mAh battery pack powers the device, which also supports an impressive 120W fast charging. All in all, this handset is one of the latest launches so it offers the most updated specs in this list. With its hardware, one can easily consider this as a good gaming smartphone and its photography experience is also quite capable thanks to the 50 megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GN5 sensor.
OnePlus 10T
The OnePlus 10T is the company’s second flagship model for this year. It arrives with updated specs over the previous flagship model. Similar to the iQOO 9T model, it also starts from a 49,999 INR price tag which is again more affordable than ultra high end smartphones. The device packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC that is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
It is powered by a large 4,800mAh battery pack that supports a fast 150W SuperVOOC charging rate. The smartphone also packs a 50 megapixel triple camera setup on the rear, while the front has a 16 megapixel selfie shooter. OnePlus has always been a major brand in this price segment and the new launch is also a viable consideration for those that want a premium experience without spending over 700 US Dollars.
Honorable Mentions
For honorable mentions, we decided to include two high-end Samsung smartphones. These are the Galaxy S20 FE and the Galaxy S21 FE. Talking about the former first, it has a price tag of 39,990 INR (roughly 504 US Dollars) which already makes it the most expensive model on the list. But despite being an almost two-year-old model, it still offers a number of features that the newer model in this list skip. This includes IP68 water and dust resistance, wireless charging up to 15W and reverses charging at 10W, and even great cross-integration support with Windows, which should attract some power users. Although, the two-year-old model means that it has a Snapdragon 865 SoC.
The last smartphone is the Galaxy S21 FE model. It is by far the most expensive smartphone that we are considering as a flagship killer, with a price tag of 54,999 INR (around 599 US Dollars in the US). However, true flagship phones typically are more expensive and cost easily around 800 US Dollars in India. So it is still cheaper than the likes of the OnePlus 10 Pro or Galaxy S22 series model. Again, users can expect to see features like IP68 water and dust resistance, reverse and wireless charging as well as other special features like Samsung Pay.
