    Design:

    The Huawei Mate 60 Pro Plus features a sleek design with glass and metal construction, making it look premium and elegant. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra also has a glass back with an aluminum frame, giving it a polished and sophisticated appearance. Both are good looking phones, but some may prefer Huawei’s more refined appearance.

    Display:

    The Mate 60 Pro Plus boasts a 6.82-inch OLED LTPO display with a resolution of 1.5K and a high refresh rate of 1Hz–120Hz. It also supports 10-bit colors and P3 color gamut. In comparison, the Galaxy S23 Ultra features a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with HDR10+ and Gorilla Glass Victus protection, providing stunning visuals and vibrant colors. So both have excellent displays!

    CPU & GPU:

    The Kirin 9000s chip, which powers the Mate 60 Pro Plus, offers excellent performance and efficiency. On the other hand, the Galaxy S23 Ultra features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) chipset with the Adreno 740 GPU, ensuring seamless multitasking and gaming experiences. Both chips support 5G too! However, Mate 60 Pro Plus is the only one with Satellite calling support.

    Storage:

    The Mate 60 Pro Plus offers up to 1 TB of storage, allowing users to store a large amount of data, apps, and media files. In comparison, the Galaxy S23 Ultra comes in different storage variants ranging from 256GB to 1TB.

    Camera:

    The Mate 60 Pro Plus is equipped with a 48MP primary camera, 40MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 48MP ultra-macro telephoto camera. It also features a 13MP front camera for selfies. On the other hand, the Galaxy S23 Ultra boasts a 200MP primary camera, 10MP periscope telephoto camera, 10MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera. It has a 12MP front camera for selfie enthusiasts. While S23 Ultra cameras are excellent, we have not yet tested the Mate 60 Pro Plus’ camera setup. Do wait for our hands-on review for more details.

    Battery:

    The Mate 60 Pro Plus houses a substantial 5000mAh battery, which supports 88W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It also offers the convenience of 20W wireless reverse charging. In comparison, the Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with a 5000mAh battery with 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging capabilities. Clearly, the Mate 60 Pro Plus has much better battery specs.

    Price:

    The price of the Huawei Mate 60 Pro Plus has not been disclosed yet. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is priced at around $900.00 globally.
