After teasing for days, Xiaomi finally debuted the Redmi Note 12 series in India last week. The lineup consists of three models, namely Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G. All three of them will go on sale in a few days from now.
With the Redmi Note 12 series, the lineup has become so expensive in India. The latest Redmi Notes start at ₹17,999 and go all the way up to ₹32,999.

It lacks an ultra-wide camera but features a capable 50MP main camera. The phone also goes by Vivo T1 5G. The only difference between the two is that the iQOO model is sold exclusively on Amazon India, while the Vivo variant is available on Flipkart as well as at offline stores.

iQOO Z6 Lite 5G
The iQOO Z6 Lite 5G is the most affordable alternative to the Redmi Note 12 5G in India. It is priced at ₹13,999 and ₹15,499 for 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB storage variants, respectively.
The smartphone is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chip as the Redmi Note 12 5G. But it comes with an LCD screen and ships without a charger.

Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G
The Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G arrives in a single 8GB + 128GB variant priced at ₹15,999. In other words, it is ₹2,000 cheaper than the Redmi Note 12 5G.
Despite being more affordable, the handset flaunts an AMOLED display but the panel lacks a high refresh rate. Additionally, the device comes with a 108MP primary camera and dual stereo speakers.
A MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset runs the phone and gets energy from a 5,000mAh battery. It supports 33W fast wired charging and sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Poco X4 Pro 5G
The Poco X4 Pro 5G is ₹1,000 costlier than the Redmi Note 12 5G. It retails at ₹18,999, ₹19,999, and ₹21,999 for 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB memory configurations, respectively.
The device offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and a glass back. It also arrives with dual stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 64MP primary camera.
Finally, it is backed by a 5.000mAh battery and carries support for 67W fast wired charging.
