Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo V27 series smartphones in the global market soon. The company has recently dropped a teaser for these upcoming devices. The Vivo V27e has been spotted on SIRIM and BIS certification websites (via), confirming that the device will launch in Malaysia and India. The listings do not reveal anything regarding the specifications, however, they do confirm that in both regions the device will have model number V2237.

We know about some of the specifications of the Vivo V27e thanks to a recent Google Play Console listing. According to the listing, the device will have a 1080 x 2400 pixels display with 440 ppi pixel density. The display will likely be an AMOLED panel that’s 6.62 inches in size, and offer up to 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the device will have a MediaTek MT6789 SoC which is also known as the Helio G99. This is a 6nm based 4G chipset manufactured by TSMC and offers great efficiency and decent performance. It is worth noting that the Chinese counterpart of this device i.e. the Vivo S16e is powered by a Dimensity 1080 chipset that comes with 5G support.

For optics, we can expect a 50MP main sensor, 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth snapper. There is a 16MP front-facing camera. Other details about the device are still a mystery at the moment.

MediaTek has been expanding its lineup of chipsets, and in line with that, the Taiwan-based company has today announced a new Dimensity series chipset, dubbed MediaTek Dimensity 7200.

The newly announced chipset is a mid-range offering from the company and comes with a focus on gaming and photography, two of the most sought-after features by users.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC is built by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) using the N4P process, which is the same used in the Dimensity 9200 series as an improvement over the Dimensity 9000.

It features two Cortex-A715 cores with a high frequency of 2.8GHz and six Cortex-A510 cores. There’s also Mali G610 MC4 GPU for handling visuals on the device. It supports a Full HD display of up to 144Hz along with HDR10+, CUVA HDR, and Dolby HDR.

There’s MediaTek HyperEngine 5.0, which allows for AI-based Variable Rate Shading and has UFS 3.1 storage for faster loading and RAM running at up to 6,400Mbps (LPDDR5). For optics, the chipset uses a 14-bit HDR ISP with support for 4K HDR video capture and also supports a main camera of up to 200MP and is capable of taking in two video streams of Full HD resolution each.

It also has APU, allowing for a number of AI-powered camera enhancements, such as Real-Time Portrait Beautification. The chipset also supports 5G sub-6GHz with up to 4.7Gbps downlink, along with 2CC Carrier Aggregation, Dual SIM 5G, triband Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.

MediaTek Dimensity 7200 will be available in smartphones launching in the first quarter of this year, but none of the smartphone brands have announced anything related to this. We will have to wait for a couple of more weeks for an announcement from brands about a smartphone powered by this new processor.

Hisense has unveiled its 90L5H 4K Smart Laser TV to selected markets. The Hisense 90L5H 4K Smart Laser TV has a 90-inch display and an ultra-short throw projector. It has a 60Hz frame rate, a native contrast ratio of 3000:1, and a 120-motion rate. The 90L5H supports HLG and its Filmmaker Mode allows you to have a more immersive viewing. Two built-in 15W speakers provide the audio architecture for the smart TV.

The connectivity options for the 90L5H 4K laser TV include HDMI ARC and USB. Miracast allows the user to stream content from a smartphone. The TV weighs about 9kg and has an aluminum body.

The Hisense 90L5H 4K Smart Laser TV is priced in South Africa at R34,999 ($1,946) and in Europe, it costs 2,889.95 ($,3099). In European markets like France, Belgium, Italy, and Spain, the Smart TV can be purchased via LDC. The availability of the product is expected to spread to other markets subsequently. The VINDSTYRKA can be linked to the IKEA DIRIGERA hub. Furthermore, you can track the readings in the IKEA Home smart app and trigger other gadgets in the IKEA smart home ecosystem. The air purifier can be set to switch on when a certain PM2.5 threshold is reached in the room.

The VINDSTYRKA air purifier has been spotted on shelf listings in some locations in Germany. However, the product will be released in April 2023. Poco recently finished launching the Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro smartphones in India as well as several global markets. The company may add another member to the series, dubbed Poco X5 GT. But while we wait for that, Poco has confirmed that it will soon be launching an affordable C series smartphone in India. Poco took to Twitter to confirm the India launch of the new Poco C55. The brand didn’t specify the exact date but said the handset is coming soon. The tweet did not reveal the specifications or the design of the smartphone. However, previous reports have suggested that the C55 will be a rebranded Redmi 12C, which was launched in China on New Year’s Eve.

The Poco C55 is expected to be a follow-up to the recently launched Poco C50. It could arrive as a budget smartphone with decent specifications and design. The handset may be priced under Rs. 10,000 in India.

A leaked image shared by tipster Yogesh Brar shows the handset will have a leathery finish on the back with the brand’s signature camera bar. We can see the Poco C55 has a dual camera sensor and fingerprint sensor on the back. The smartphone is pictured in forest green and looks quite pleasing.

It could arrive with a 6.71-inch LCD display with an HD+ (1650 × 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, there may be a MediaTek Helio G85 processor with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. Fueled by a 5,000mAh battery, the device is expected to support 10W charging. It could get a 50MP main cam on the rear and 5MP selfie shooter on the front.

Sony WH-CH720N to Launch Soon With More Comfy and Light-Weight Design

In the upcoming months, Sony will launch the WH-CH720N, its newest model of wireless headphones. These headphones are a brand-new addition to Sony’s already remarkable line of headphones and are ready to provide consumers with a superb audio experience and a variety of cutting-edge capabilities. The device will replace the current Sony WH-CH520N and make several upgrades in terms of specifications over the forerunner. The design of the latest model is lighter and comfier.

Xiaomi 30W Wireless Car Charger With Dual USB-A Ports Launched for 199 Yuan ($29)

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has launched a new 30W Wireless Car Charger. The new product joins the existing lineup of Xiaomi-branded car chargers which include the Xiaomi 20W Wireless Car Charger and 50W Wireless Car Charger Pro. The device is presently on sale at Xiaomi Mall and is priced at 199 yuan ($29). Interestingly, this is the same price as the 20W version. Xiaomi may either phase out the 20W version or it might get a price cut.

According to the manufacturer, the Xiaomi 30W wireless car charger charges the Redmi K60 Pro from 0-50% in just 30 minutes. It also supports Samsung mobile phones, Apple iPhones, and other mobile phones that support wireless charging. It should be noted, though, that due to the difference in the position of the wireless charging coil, the car charger does not support wireless charging for Mi 10 Extreme Edition, Mi 12S Ultra, iPhone 12 mini, and iPhone 13 mini.

As for the design, the Xiaomi 30W wireless car charger has a built-in hidden infrared sensor. The mobile phone can be automatically released or gripped when it is close to the electric clamp arm.

The clamp arm can extend up to 81.5mm after opening, meaning it can charge large-screen mobile phones such as the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The effective sensing distance for charging is 4mm, and there is no need to remove it if you use a mobile phone case.

In terms of safety, the Xiaomi 30W Wireless Car Charger has a built-in independent fan to actively dissipate heat. The charger also supports multiple protections such as temperature, short circuit, power, and overvoltage, as well as foreign object detection.

Furthermore, the Xiaomi 30W wireless car charger comes with two USB-A ports that can also be used to charge mobile phones at the same time. The USB-A port has a maximum total output power of 46W.

In terms of installation method, it supports direct insertion into the air outlet, or it can be fixed with the complimentary flat adhesive base.

The handset will be arriving on the global market on February 26 along with the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 lite. However, Indian consumers will only get the pro model. And today, it has been confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 Pro will be sold in India through Amazon. Here are the details.

Xiaomi’s flagship smartphones usually go on sale in India through Amazon and the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Pro won’t be an exception. Amazon India has confirmed that the handset will be available for purchase on the platform starting February 26, the same day as the launch date. The pricing details of the smartphone are yet to be revealed.

Xiaomi 13 Pro Specifications

As the Xiaomi 13 Pro is already official in China, we know all of its specifications. The handset comes with a 6.73-inch LTPO E6 AMOLED display with a Quad HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 1900 nits peak brightness. The panel supports Dolby Vision and features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

Samsung Announces One UI 5.1 Global Rollout for Older Galaxy Phones
