Samsung has announced a new smartphone called the Galaxy A21 Simple SCV49 in Japan. This device is a new variant of the existing A21 smartphone, which is especially available through the AU carrier in the country. The Galaxy A21 Simple has a 5.8-inch waterdrop notch display. The TFT screen offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. For selfies, it has a front camera of 5-megapixel. Its back panel has a single 13-megapixel camera and an LED flash.
The modest Exynos 7884B is present under the hood of the Galaxy A21 Simple. It has 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of built-in storage. For additional storage, it features a microSD card slot.

The Galaxy S21 Simple runs on Android 11 OS. It lacks a fingerprint scanner, but features face unlock for biometrics. It is backed by a 3,600mAh, which can be charged through a 10W charger. It comes with connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
What’s interesting about this device is that it comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The handset measures 150 x 71 x 8.4mm and weighs 159 grams.
