Vivo’s upcoming X70 series has been in the news lately, suggesting an imminent launch. Over the past one week, we got a first look at renders of the Vivo X70 Pro, and a reliable tipster further leaked the specifications of the X70 series. Now, we have a first look at the renders of the entry-level X70 showing off the smartphone in the wild.

The publication MySmartPrice, in collaboration with popular tipster OnLeaks, aka Steve Hemmerstoffer, shared some render images of the upcoming X70 giving us a first look at Vivo’s upcoming flagship. The renders show the smartphone from different angles.

According to the renders, the X70 series will continue to carry the Zeiss branding from its predecessors. As per the tipster, the vanilla X70 would feature a flat FHD+ 6.5-inch display with a centered punch-hole camera. Further, it is expected with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Taking things to the back, the Vivo X70 would be coming with a Zeiss branded triple camera setup. The sensors are accompanied by a triple LED flash. The renders show the smartphone in shades of blue and green. But, we can expect Vivo to launch more color options.

The phone’s right edge houses the volume rocker and power button, while the left edge is left plain. On the bottom, you can find a USB Type-C port, a microphone, speaker grille, and the SIM card tray. The X70 is tipped to measure 158.5 x 73.4 x 8mm with a max thickness of 10.6mm (including the camera module).

The Vivo X70 is rumored to be powered by Mediatek 1200 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM. The display is expected to come with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Further, the rear camera setup might be led by a 48MP sensor, while the front camera is rumored to be a 32MP sensor. A 4,200mAh battery will back it up with 33W fast charging support. The smartphone would be running FunTouch OS on top of Android 11 in China.

The Vivo X70 series is rumored to bring three phones, X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro Plus. The upcoming Vivo flagships are expected to launch in the coming weeks.
